Coming across this along Harris Street in Pyrmont I couldn’t help wondering if someone had scampered from the nearby Powerhouse Museum with an exhibit, display case and all, and abandoned it here on the street corner.
Another thing that rather bemused me about this piece of public art, a vintage scooter, with a model brain on the rear carrier, encased in a perspex case, was its title ‘ Insect with Lead.’ Still totally lost on me, Dear Reader.
Created by local artist Richard Goodwin in 2012 this oddity is worthy a look if you are in the area.
