The World Heritage List includes 1052 properties (January 2017) forming part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee considers as having outstanding universal value. I had never thought about visiting places just because they were UNESCO World Heritage listed until I recently bought a book of such sites. Pretty happen with what I have achieved but a long way to go yet to mark off all 1052!
