Travelling in North Korea – 2014

During my time in North Korea I visited the capital, Pyongyang, and a number of other locations (see below) including Sinuiju on the northern border with China. Sinuiju has only recently opened to overseas tourists (excluding those from the USA and South Korea). Continue reading “And Now for Something Completely Different”

Britain’s 1673 Commitment to the Saints

This small plaque on a wall by St James’ Church in the centre of Jamestown, St Helena could easily be missed. Indeed, I almost walked by it just catching it in the corner of my eye. This got me to thinking and wondering if there was anything that bound this great country together. Is there any single factor that makes Australia the great place it is? Continue reading “Australia – From Tittybong to Rooty Hill”
