The Casa Wagner is located in the main square within the citadel, diagonally opposite the Clock Tower entrance to the square. This gives it a perfect location for those seeking to explore the citadel area and soak up the atmosphere.
It has 22 double/twin rooms, 5 deluxe suites, 5 single rooms all with antique (and aging!) Saxon furniture. A basic though adequate self-service breakfast (included in the price) is served on the ground floor in a “gothic” style dining room.
Our attic room was large, clean and quiet and the bed reasonably comfortable. Our very limited interaction with staff resulted in no issues but they are not of the pampering type. If you seek that stay elsewhere.
This is a highly recommended three star hotel. If I were returning I wouldn’t bother looking elsewhere.

It was excellent value at Eur36 (in late 2011) for a double. This rate includes a 10% discount, given if you stay at Hotel Casa Wagner in both Sighisoara and Brazov as we did.
A check in Sept 2017 would suggest that a double would be around Eur70 (minimum), including breakfast.

An excellent find, Albert! Casa Wagner looks like a real gem and definitely someplace I would enjoy staying at.

Yes, I really liked this hotel. Pity I don’t have some inside pictures to share. Nothing fancy .. just a nice cosy place to stay.
